we should have put a bow on this
My father stayed at the house until 4:30am cutting this space for the HVAC refrigerant lines. I've never been so proud of him and so furious at the HVAC people in my life.
This is the closet under the stairs that has a wall shared with the wall of our walk-in closet upstairs. Had we not cut this for them to run refrigerant lines, they were going to run them out the roof and attach them all the way down the back of our house. They want our house to look like a submarine, I swear.

Had to be careful in this part of the master bedroom. Air returns and refrigerant lines for the AC under the floor.
